Retention period for your data?
When you complete a U-Scan questionnaire, your data will not automatically be deleted. You have the right to request that part or all of your personal data or the data you have entered in U-Scan be deleted or destroyed.

 

Information we share

All information provided by you will be treated confidentially and used for research purposes or to improve our services and products. Your responses will be combined with those of other U-Scan participants, and will be analysed anonymously as part of a group. Results from the analysis of anonymised data at group level may be used for marketing purposes.

We ask you for personal information that identifies you - for example, your name, address, email address or telephone number - and we use this information to generate a personal report, send the report to you or contact you for follow-up research or marketing purposes.

We do not share your information or data with third parties outside of Mexcellence, except in the following limited circumstances:

  • If a third party has purchased licenses to complete the U-Scan questionnaire, and you have obtained the right to make use of these licenses (both free of charge and for a fee), your details and data from the U-Scan questionnaire as well as any scores and advice generated will be shared with this third party. Consult the internal policy of this third party if you have any questions about this.
  • Anonymized answers and scores, both individually and at group level, can be shared with third parties. We do not sell, rent or disclose any personal information about you or your customer (e.g. name, address, email address), or any other data that could be used to personally identify you.

To help us deliver certain aspects of our services, we use our affiliates and trusted key partners - in particular, we engage third parties for:

  • Facilitating our email collectors to send surveys by email to customers.
  • Facilitating customers in making payments.
  • Helping us deliver and track our marketing and advertising content.
